We love it because we know that on Christmas morning, so many of our customers are going to open thoughtful Christmas gifts that are filled with meaning. Not just your usual socks and chocolates, but jewellery gifts that carry love and memory, destined to be cherished into the new year and beyond.
But with all the Christmas excitement, the busyness does mean that we need to set clear Christmas order deadlines to make sure every piece reaches its recipient in time. Our priority is always the quality of your keepsake and the care behind it, and planning ahead ensures we can deliver on that promise.
Why We Set Christmas Order Deadlines
Here at Inscripture, we know that it’s not just jewellery and keepsakes we’re creating but real stories. That means every engraving, every setting of resin and every handcrafted detail is made with care to honour the memories of your loved ones. And because we’re a small, family-run business with a small team, we can’t rush this process. We believe these pieces deserve to have time taken to understand them, the person behind it and the stories they represent.
It’s why we will never push orders right up to the last minute simply to boost profits. That’s not how we work, and it’s not why we love what we do. Instead, we want to ensure every order gets the attention and care it deserves, and to do that, we have to establish some Christmas order deadlines.
Deadlines for Engraved Jewellery
UK Orders: To ensure delivery in time for Christmas, place your order by Tuesday 17th December.
Ireland & International Orders: Deadline is Monday 25th November.
Please remember, our capacity is limited during the festive season. Ordering early guarantees that your piece will receive the time and attention it deserves. If we reach full capacity sooner than expected, deadlines may be brought forward.
Deadlines for Ashes Jewellery
Ashes jewellery requires even more care and time, especially because we require your inclusions to arrive with us safely before we can begin. Once they have, our turnaround time is expected to be up to 5 working days once your loved one’s ashes reach us.
To receive your piece in time for Christmas, we recommend ordering no later than Thursday 12th December.
Meanwhile, our gold ashes jewellery requires longer turnaround times and is excluded from this cut-off date. Once your order is placed, Christmas delivery is secure as long as your ashes arrive within 3 days of ordering or by Monday 16th December, whichever comes first.
