Each item in our photo jewellery category provides a unique opportunity to carry a piece of your personal history. Whether it’s a photo of a loved one, a special place, or a cherished moment, our jewellery allows you to keep these memories close. Beyond photos, many of our pieces offer the option for further personalisation, such as engraving a special message, a significant date, or even a snippet of your loved one’s handwriting.
Whether it’s commemorating the most joyous moments or offering solace during times of grief, as the UK’s leading experts, we are committed to providing quality pieces that will become lifelong treasures and we are proud to offer the largest range of Memorial Jewellery in the UK.
Memorial jewellery gives us a tangible and heartfelt way to keep our loved ones with us every day we are apart. They can provide us with emotional support when we need them the most.
Here at Inscripture, we specialise in creating stunning memorial jewellery engraved with fingerprints, photographs and even real handwriting, as well as ashes jewellery that lets you carry a physical part of them throughout your life. Wearing these memorial keepsakes can be a source of comfort during times of grief and a way to feel connected to them when you need it most.
Yes, we can create Memorial Jewellery from ashes, hair, or fur. At Inscripture, we specialise in encapsulating small amounts of your loved one’s ashes, hair, or fur into colourful resin, which is then set at the heart of beautiful designs like ashes rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and charms. No matter which design you choose, each piece becomes a way to keep your loved ones close, wherever life takes you.
We also offer a stunning range of urn jewellery, which can be filled with your loved one’s remains in your own time and space. Don’t worry, throughout the entire process, we treat your loved one’s ashes, hair, or fur with the utmost care and respect. We’ll even send you a special kit to safely collect your ashes, or a funnel kit if you prefer to fill your self-fill jewellery at home, at your own pace.
We offer a wide range of beautiful memorial jewellery here at Inscripture. One of our most popular collections is our Handwriting Jewellery, a range of keepsakes that is engraved with the real handwriting of your loved one. All we need is a photograph of a card, note or signature, and we’ll translate their penmanship perfectly onto your chosen pendant, charm or bracelet.
We also have memorial jewellery engraved with photographs, fingerprints, handprints, footprints, paw prints, illustrations, and more. All these engraved keepsakes hold a deep significance because they capture a unique, irreplaceable part of your loved one. You can also personalise your memorial jewellery further by adding a second engraving on the back of the jewellery or by adding additional charms such as birthstones, robins, angel rings and more to tell a complete story.
This completely depends on the jewellery you choose. For handwriting pieces, we just need a clear photo of their handwriting, and we can transfer this through engraving. Similarly, for photo and illustration pieces, we just need a clear photo of what you’d like transferred and we’ll carry that memory over onto your chosen design.
With fingerprint, handprint, nose and paw print pieces, we require a print, using our inkless print kit gives the best results. If you don’t have one, a clear photocopy, scan or photograph of the print will work just fine. We can also work with pencil fingerprints, see our guide for step-by-step instructions.
For ashes jewellery, we’ll send you an ash collection kit with everything you need to safely send us the ashes, and from there, we’ll handle them with all the care and respect they deserve.
Once we receive your personalisation details, we lovingly aim to create your piece within 1–3 working days for most engraved jewellery. Please allow extra time during busy gifting periods such as Christmas, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.
Ashes jewellery and pieces in 18ct Gold typically require around 4–6 weeks due to the additional specialist processes involved.
Yes, memorial jewellery can be a deeply meaningful and comforting gift for someone who has lost a loved one.
A piece personalised with a fingerprint, a piece of their handwriting or a photograph gives the recipient something truly unique that they can wear and treasure every day.
If you’re unsure which piece to choose, our team is always happy to offer guidance.
Does my memorial jewellery come with a guarantee?
Yes, we offer a 1-year guarantee on all of our jewellery items, covering the unlikely event of a manufacturing fault. Please note this does not cover general wear and tear such as scratching, tarnishing or oxidisation, plating fading over time, liquid or moisture damage, or breakage caused by mishandling or accidental damage.
The most important things to keep in mind are to avoid contact with make-up, lotions and perfumes, remove your jewellery every night before bed and store pieces separately away from moisture, heat and direct sunlight. Clean gently with a soft, lint-free cloth – avoid chemical cleaners.
With a little care, your piece will stay beautiful for many years to come.
