Memorial charms may be small, but they can carry a world of meaning. Added to a compatible bracelet or necklace, they offer a simple way to keep a loved one, treasured pet or special memory close each day. Personalise your charm with handwriting, fingerprints, names, dates, initials or engraved words that hold a meaning only you know.
A memorial charm is a beautiful way to add personal meaning to jewellery you already love, or to create a new keepsake in memory of someone special. Each charm can be personalised in a way that feels right to you, whether that is a loved one’s handwriting, a fingerprint, a name, a special date or a few words you never want to forget. Small enough to wear every day, yet personal enough to mean everything, memorial charms make thoughtful keepsakes for yourself or someone you love.
A memorial charm is a small personalised charm worn in memory of someone you love, usually on a charm bracelet. Inscripture’s memorial charms can carry a loved one’s real handwriting, fingerprint, photo or an illustration, so a tiny piece of them comes with you wherever you go.
It depends on the shape and size of the charm. On Inscripture’s charm bracelet charms, a 16mm heart fits around three to four words per side, a 15mm circle fits two to three, and a 14mm star fits one word per side. Shorter words leave more room, so the exact fit depends on length.
Find a card, letter or note they wrote and photograph it in natural daylight, laid flat, with just the words you’d like filling the frame. Make sure it’s sharp and free from glare, then upload it when you order or later if that’s easier. Inscripture’s team checks every image before engraving begins.
Yes, engraving both sides of a memorial charm is a lovely way to fit more in. You could put their handwriting on the front and a name, date or a few extra words on the back. Each Inscripture product page shows whether that charm can be engraved on both sides.
