What to consider before you scatter cremation ashes
Choose a location
Some people will leave a preferred location in their will where they wish their ashes to be scattered. However, sometimes the site they choose is not viable, or you can’t get permission to scatter ashes in this place. In these cases, or if you are scattering pet ashes, you may have to choose the location you think best suits your lost loved one. Popular options include woodland areas, cliffs, and the ocean.
Go with the wind
Many people choose to scatter ashes into the wind for a memorable and natural send-off.
